Tomorrow (Sat., May 6) is the opening day of the University District Farmers’ Market at Oak Forest Community Garden (2600 S. Monroe St., Little Rock). Gates are open from 8 a.m. until 12 noon.
Come early because Damfine Tacos will be selling chorizo with egg and potato and vegetarian migas breakfast tacos from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Pretty Privileged Hair Company will have a booth for their hair and skin care products as well!
As always, Oak Forest Community Garden – Little Rock will have tables set up with our garden-grown produce. This week, we will have:
- Strawberries (from the garden and from Holland Bottom Farm LLC)
- Romaine Lettuce
- Mustard Greens (both green and red varieties)
- Georgia Collards
- Mixed Kale (Lacinato and Red Russian)
- Swiss Chard
- Spinach
- Beets
- Radishes
- Green Onions
- Cabbage
- Cilantro
- Parsley
- Mint
- Payment Accepted: Cash, Credit/Debit Card, EBT
